Strongbeginnings NFP is pleased to partner with Shimira Cole, producer and director of The Land That Became Ours. Strongbeginnings NFP researcher conducted research on the Cole land project in Bentonville.
Strongbeginnings NFP is a resource for families who are eager to learn and understand the importance of their family heritage through land ownership.
The Land That Became Ours by Shimira Cole is about her family who proudly owns land that is a part of American History and their heritage. The Land That Became Ours will take viewers through the entangled history between their enslaved ancestors, the Civil War, and the land they happily call home now.
